Sunrise Assisted Care Facilities

Sunrise Assisted Care Facilities develops assisted care residential communities throughout the country for an increasing percentage of our population and are planning several for the
St. Louis area.

To date, Landscape Technologies has designed planting plans for facilities in Chesterfield, Creve Coeur and Richmond Heights. The architecture of each is in a Victorian style with three stories.

Landscapes are designed to allow residents to have a part in caring for the gardens if they so choose, plant flowers, etc. All gardens are accessible to the disabled. In all gardens, the design is meant to give them some "familiarity" to their former home.

A secure Alzheimer's garden is included at each facility that allows residents tactile sensations (touch, fragrance). Additionally, bird gardens, butterfly gardens and generous amounts of annual/perennial beds can be found throughout the grounds.
